Late night session
There’s nothing like a late night programming/writing session with plenty of candy, Dr Pepper, and good music. Ok, so technically it’s not late night yet, but when you’re used to going to bed at 10 pm it is. Only thing that could make it better is a batch of Mountain Dew…
… which we have!!!

First, your Mt. Dew bottles are vastly different from the bottles of their birhtplace. Second, it’s not that much caffiene, about 78mg. Sure, it’s more than the average soda but if you want you can get something like water joe which is 100mg of caffienated water.
Say what you want about Americans but we’ve come up with more interesting chemical ways to keep ourselves awake than any other nation. I won’t even get started on caffienated breath mints.

Yes, the Mt. Dew bottles are different, and they’re actually from the Czech Republic (probably imported illegally). It is somewhat unfortunate, but Denmark has quite strict regulations for how much caffeine (for example) can be added to a beverage. Mt. Dew is very much that limit (we don’t even have Red Bull, because it contains too much caffeine).
I must also admit that I am familiar with the variety of caffeinated goods available in the US. I mean, I lived there for a year, and I browse think geek regularly. I mean, they have a whole caffeine section!

It tastes pretty much like a stickier sprite. It’s a sweet citrusy caffeine bomb. I guess that’s pretty much all there is to it.
