I use my Gore bike shorts for running as well. I already loved them when I wore them as a messenger on my bike for seven hours a day, now it turns out they are pretty usefull for running, too. They do have this funny mesh, too, but it never bothered me - I just don't recognize it anymore.

It turns out that those Newline shorts are crap. They climb up and lead to friction burns on the inner thigh... So now I'm back to using my North Face shorts. The prana shorts are pretty hard to get a hold of here in Denmark, but I'm still looking (I want to try them on before buying them).

Ok, so I was just going through my links and thought I hadn't seen a peep from Jonas in a while. So, I come here and learn we both have trouble finding shorts. Next thing I know I've spent an hour looking at shorts online.

Also, who knew there was a niche for the purely Yoga/Climbing set big enough to sustain a company that caters only to that crowd?

I don't have actual running-shorts so the shorts I have had the best luck with, is a pair of Prana-Mojo-shorts. Made of some synthetic garment, they are lightweight and quickdrying and do not stick to your legs.
