I know it’s old and stuff, but you know it’s true:

The internet is for p0rn

ps. Nothing lewd, just funny.

All translatiatized

Looking through my referers in mint I noticed a google translation someone had tried to read my page in French. I thought that was pretty cool. I guess I’ll use “Bout de chapeau” instead of “Hat tip” from now on, and for some reason “Le Boulderer Machiné” sounds trés cool, although “Le Escalateur Machiné” would probably be more correct (I can’t figure out what boulderer is in French, but bouldering is simply called Bloc after the word for boulder).

Google satellite goes worldwide

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

Google has added satellite images for the rest of the world. I’m still waiting for the addition of maps, but until then I can always play around. First thing I did was find our crib, next was Kjugekull the nordic boulderer’s playground, and of course Fontainebleau the Mekka of bouldering.

You can easily spend too much time google sightseeing now that the rest of the world is there for the taking. You could for example start with the Eiffel Tower, what about Pantheon (and you could of course also look for the Vatican or Colloseum when you’re looking at Rome), or the notable lack of Palm Island. Closer to home you could look at Amalienborg (the home of the Queen of Denmark).
